to OpuS – the new European Network in opera and school – will start 2009. Partners from nearly all countries of Europe will have an international comunication and exchange about children`s opera. Scientific analysis, productions from opera houses of Europe and the possibilitiy to inform about everything concering children `s opera on a multilingual website. The first very important event will be OPUS 1. OPUS 1 will be a new European Festival, concerning Opera for children and is planned to take place in the German city of Chemnitz, Saxony early in 2010 for the first time and then as OPUS 2 ff every following second year.
